This is why we design bespoke cabinets around the system. We for example design open spaces or closed spaces for hanging clothes. Once the bed is unfolded we often design small niches in the side cabinets with lights so you have the feeling of cozyness or a nightstand. The colors are to your choice. Here in Amsterdam We design colored fronts but then when the bed is unfolded it is nice to have a wooden decor on the inside. Another important issue is the lighting, this is fully possible in the unfolded bed situation. Other items to be integrated are desks that are added onto the cabinet and drawer systems. Our goal is to design a functional bed cabinet but also to design a nice integrated cabinet that is up to your design standards. Our furniture is bespoke so we fill out the whole wall to ceiling and sides, not leaving any gaps. It is a true carpentry service.
Integrated and bespoke cabinet design
The process of designing a murphy bed cabinet here in Amsterdam is as following. We come and measure the space, during that visit we can discuss the style that you like and we need to know the exact accesoires that you like to integrate. Then we make a price offer. In a next step of the process we design the bespoke bedroom furniture with different versions. For this we set up high quality 3D renders in color. Then we ask for your feedback and finetune the design by adding open spaces or special niche cabinets so it looks like a perfect designed cabinet rather then a white box. Like stated before we can integrate different materials and colors and design the bespoke murphy bed cabinet in different styles, also we have made very classical models. For the fronts we can use sprayed materials but we have designed beautiful vintage and oak veneered solutions.
