Bespoke kitchen combined with a bespoke wardrobe and bathroom cabinets in combination with a full renovation. Last week we have finished a successful project of fitted and bespoke kitchen and fitted cabinets with a full renovation of the place. It was a very difficult place on the Brouwersgracht in the Jordaan neighbourhood of Amsterdam. It is an apartment in one of the old medieval warehouses that are currently refurbished to appartments.

Home office, custom made desks and working from home. The last year has been turbulent also for interior businesses and interior concepts. It was a year that has changed our way of working and thinking. For professionals commuting up and forward from Amsterdam to work there were big considerations. From the interior point of view we can conclude that professionals are looking for a peaceful place to work in the house and to integrate desk area’s into nice furniture pieces.

Bespoke kitchen? Remodelling an existing kitchen is the better expression. Just before Covid our expat clients moved to their new house in a majestic street near the concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Beautiful ground floor apartment wit loads of potential. The kitchen did not fit their wishes and was made in some kind of shabby beach style not fitting their apartment nor their style or architecture.
