The end of 2019 we got the opportunity to design and build a customized storage room in the center of Amsterdam in the neighbourhood next to the Heineken experience (the old Heineken brewery used to own this neighbourhood for its employees – editors note..).
The couple from the expat community here in Amsterdam that bought the old house of two floors had the dream to convert the whole separate bedroom on the first floor into a magic walkin closet with fitted and customized cabinets.
Shaker style kitchens and classical kitchen designs are still timeless and in high demand. As there are a lot of expats coming to Amsterdam those days especially from the UK we have seen a higher interest in shaker style panel doors and classical kitchens. Interiors on Zuidas, Amsterdam. A lot of real estate development has taken place on the South Part of Amsterdam. The apartments are a perfect fit for our luxury designed interiors.
This is the area were for years the big banks and offices located their headquarters . The area is located just south of the Amsterdam A10 ring road. Nowadays it is a totally different story and a succes for the city's urban planners. Residential living between the offices became more popular and a lot of nice residential skyscrapers are designed and built up here. In the same moment a lot of restaurants and bars made their entry to this area. The areas became very easy and a pleasant place to live. Let alone the cycling distance to the city centre of Amsterdam and the very easy acces to the Amstel river and small villages around like the beautiful Ouderkerk a/d Amstel.
Classical kitchen and bookshelve near Vondelpark, Amsterdam
Classical kitchens and cabinets work well if well designed. Our client contracted MyHouse Amsterdam after they bought their beautiful old house near the famous Amsterdam Vondelpark. Like so many apartments the house was sold turn key. So it was ready to move in as they said.
There was a kitchen and everything worked well. So true…but it was just not pretty and did not give the right justice to the apartment outlook and architecture of the nice apartment.
Therefore our clients contacted MyHouse to design together with them a custom made kitchen and a wall filling bookcase.
Modern style cabinets combined with steel doors. Just outside the old center of Amsterdam a design request came to us to combine a steel construction, a steel door with modern sprayed wardrobes. The house we had to work in is older and has a very classic outlook. The place has been designed with natural and modern materials to keep a clean outlook and design. Anyway it was a very nice interior project in Amsterdam.
