Bespoke interior Amsterdam: Kitchen and cabinet Project
Bespoke kitchens and cabinets designed for Amsterdam homes. Amsterdam houses are known for their character—tall windows, narrow layouts, and a balance between historic charm and modern living. In this recent project, we designed, crafted, and installed a bespoke interior that brings together a modern dark oak bespoke kitchen with elegant white hallway and clothing cabinets in a modern-classic style topped off by a vanity unit. The result is a cohesive, high-end living space tailored to both the architecture and the lifestyle of our international and expat client.
Modern Bespoke Oak Kitchen with Timeless Appeal
The kitchen is the centerpiece of the home. We chose rich dark oak cabinetry to create depth, warmth, and a strong architectural presence. The clean lines and handleless design emphasize a contemporary aesthetic, while the natural grain of the wood keeps the space inviting and tactile. The island makes the space amazing and practical.
Key features of the kitchen include:
- Custom-built dark oak veneer cabinets with a matte finish
- Seamless integrated appliances for a minimalist look
- A functional layout optimized for Amsterdam’s compact spaces
- Durable, high-quality materials designed for everyday use
- Bespoke kitchen island
White Hallway Cabinets: Light, Space, and Function
Moving from the kitchen into the hallway, the design shifts intentionally. Here, we introduced bespoke white cabinetry to brighten the space and create a sense of openness. In many Amsterdam homes, hallways can feel narrow or enclosed, so maximizing light is essential.
These custom hallway cabinets provide:
- Smart storage solutions for coats, shoes, and daily essentials
- A clean, clutter-free appearance
- Subtle detailing that ties into the home’s overall design language
- Seating area for the kids to dress
Modern-Classic Clothing Cabinets
In the bedroom areas, we designed and installed made-to-measure clothing cabinets that blend modern precision with classic detailing. This “modern-classic” approach ensures the cabinets feel timeless rather than trend-driven.
Design highlights include:
- Framed cabinet fronts with refined proportions
- Soft neutral tones to complement the interior palette
- High-quality hinges and fittings for long-term durability
- Interior layouts tailored to the client’s wardrobe and lifestyle
- A nice vanity unit with drawers and mirrors.
